CrossFit SW Portland is your local CrossFit affiliate, just down the street from Hayhurst School. Currently, we have over 30 athletes sweating and getting stronger daily, through this unique approach to exercise that is right for any fitness level. It’s likely you already have a friend, neighbor, or co-worker who has started to see results from these great CF workouts. With so much success, we’ve decided to offer this exciting opportunity to the Hayhurst Community, benefiting our wonderful school!
But what is CrossFit? CrossFit works by using a constantly varied combination of movements performed at high intensity, to create the best fitness program out there for building strength while burning fat. CrossFit is the fitness methodology used by many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. While this may seem way too advanced for your ambitions, people from every walk of life are using CrossFit to get great results. In fact, CrossFit’s approach to scale any workout is one of its hallmarks, making it accessible to anyone! Athletes of all levels-triathletes, soccer moms, couch potatoes, children, and grandparents–follow the same program, but at their own level of intensity. The needs of our members differ by degree, not kind.
